Wendy Fleury grew up in Toronto Canada, where she entered her first art competition at seven years old, and won!  She took painting lessons and had a love for art. She pursued a career in Graphic Design and painted on the side, having a few solo art shows in Ontario. In 1987 she began producing “limited edition” prints of her work.  These were sold across Canada and were mainly historical homes and children done in watercolor.

1996 brought her and her young family to Northern Kentucky, where she began a part time  career as the “Art teacher” at her children’s school.  Other days were spent “Plein air” painting outdoors, and Studio painting. Wendy paints Landscapes, portraits, animals and has a special love for “Sacred Art”. She enjoys many different  mediums… Acrylic, Oil, Watercolor and Egg Tempra. (which she uses for Byzantine Icon painting)

Taking workshops from top Artists that she admires, helps her increase her  artistic skills. Each year Wendy enters local plein air shows, and other art competitions. She is very passionate about her art and it shows, by winning many  Art competitions.
