When Lisabeth Curnow, award winning watercolor artist and instructor isn’t teaching, she is painting Michigan landscapes, intimate still life, or portraits of animals, and people.  She is the President of Mid Michigan Art Guild (MMAG), active member of Lansing Women Artist Collective (LWAC), and Great Lakes Plein Air Painter’s Association (GLPAPA). 

Lisabeth recently had a solo exhibition at Framer’s Edge of Okemos and Shiawassee Arts Center and Gallery in Owosso. Her plein air work has been included exhibits throughout Michigan, including; The Richard and Jane Manoogian Mackinac Art Museum on Mackinac Island, Saginaw Art Gallery, Crooked Tree Gallery in Traverse City as part of Paint Grand Traverse, Shiawassee Arts Center, and Art and Soul Gallery in St. John’s.

Lisabeth continues to work at developing her own artistic skills, encourages others with her passion for watercolor, and presently is teaching students age 3 years old to 93 years.
