I am an avid (albeit fair-weather) plein air painter of MIchigan scenery — both on my own, and in structured events such as Paint Dexter Plein Air Festival, and those of the Great Lakes Plein Air Painters Association, among others. Watercolor is my main medium for painting outdoors, but I also like to paint acrylics from my own photos during the winter.
