Nora Venturelli was born in Rosario, Argentina. In 1968, as a child, she immigrated with her family to California where she graduated from High School and started her studies in art. In her late teens, during a 5 year interim in Argentina, she studied with artist Julio Vanzo. Returned to the US and has been living in Ann Arbor, MI for the last 25 years. Nora has a Bachelor degree in Fine Arts from the University of Michigan, and a Master in Fine Arts from Eastern MI University. She is currently a Lecturer II at the University of Michigan Stamps School of Art & Design where she teaches drawing and painting. Nora is active showing her work locally and internationally, her work is in numerous private and public collections. She is represented by the WSG Gallery in Ann Arbor, MI.
