Laura Martinez-Bianco has spent her life in New York’s Hudson Valley and has always appreciated and valued the beauty of it’s landscape. Her paintings are inspired by her surroundings, at home or abroad. After receiving her degree in Art Education from SUNY New Paltz, she continued to study painting with local artists in the Hudson Valley.
Laura has taught and hosted painting workshops in Italy and Cape Cod. Workshops provide her with an opportunity to paint with and to teach others about the plein air experience. Her work spans a variety of medium including pastel, printmaking and encaustics and can be found in private collections throughout the US, Italy and Denmark. She has exhibited in Regional and National Exhibits while receiving numerous awards.
