Andy is a self-taught artist based in Dexter. As a Michigan native, he finds inspiration for his art while exploring the Northern Michigan forests, or near his home on the Huron River.
His goal with any drawing or painting is to bring the viewer into the calming, unique scenery of Michigan and the outdoors. Andy specializes in ink & wash (watercolor) paintings of landscape scenery, and other interesting subjects, completed both on location and in his home studio. When he’s not painting, Andy is an avid pilot and enjoys spending time with his family, including his Bloodhound and Bluetick Coonhound. Commissioned paintings and originals are available upon request.
